The 2005 Miramar Air Show

October 15-16, 2005


The show started with a radio controlled aircraft demo, with both propeller and jet powered models.

The F/A-22 Raptor, our nation's newest fighter jet, made a quick flyby.

Bill Anders in the P-51 Mustang Val-Halla. Buy Print

The Heritage Flight consisted of a QF-4 Phantom II, the P-51, the, F-16, and the A-10. Buy Print

This remote controllable QF-4 will eventually be used as a target for a missile test. Buy Print

Bill "Weedsman" Reesman flew the Red Bull MiG-17F.

(Bill was flying a two-seater MiG here a few days ago, the brakes failed and he went into the weeds).
